Balgus Star (Balgus Star III to give its little-used popular name) was the third planet in the Balgus Star System. The planet was unremarkable, save for being the home of the Wolf Raiders, a near-human Pirate band. A small world with a fast rotation, Balgus Star was notable in the fact that it was surrounded by a planetary ring, rather unusual for a small, rocky planet. The world had only a single moon, but it was likely that the planetary ring was formed out of the remnants of one or more others that had collided or collapsed.
