The Artemesian measles were an infectious disease, likely originating from to the planet Artemis. A strain of the disease that was brought to Manticore by a Solarian freighter was believed to have affected Jean Marrou's mother when she was pregnant, resulting her daughter's blindness. (HHA2.3: QG)
