Cornelius Brubaker was the head of Brubaker Holdings and a member of the Old Families. He was one of Errol Bennet's closest friends. In late 2488, Brubaker visited a Confederate Marine Corps recruit graduation ceremony at Turaxis Prime base, Turaxis II, as the guest of honor. Former Old Family Ark Bennet was tempted to speak to him but ended up avoiding him there so he could remain in the Marine Corps. However, he decided against it. Bennet speculated that it was likely Brubaker was willing to speak at the graduation because his company supplied much of the Confederate ordinance, and thus he stood to profit from the Guild Wars.
