Turot was a 24th century Ferengi businessman. He became bitter rivals with fellow Ferengi, Hoex, after his controlling interests in the cargo ports on Volchok Prime were bought out by Hoex. Turot was invited to a very important conference with Grand Nagus Zek held aboard Deep Space 9 in 2369. Krax, who helped coordinate the conference, told Quark, the conference's host, not to seat Turot next to Hoex due to their bitter rivalry. (DS9: "The Nagus") Turot was played by an unknown actor.
