The Empire of Mecca (Arabic: امبراطورية مكة المكرمة) was a nation in the Middle East founded by Fatimah I after the War of the Hijaz. Its existence and deeds have historically been controversial and demonised; nowdays, they just seem as the extremist response to secularisaation and militarysation of the powers surrounding it.
