Static Blasters were a type of blaster that fired condensed electricity rather than blaster bolts. These niche weapons were useful for subduing foes resistant to traditional weaponry, such as veermoks, and were additionally useful for being able to bypass energy shields not designed to stop electric current. Notable models were almost entirely originally designed by Systech Corporation, in the form of the Systech electric blaster, and, later, in the form of the SSB-1 Static Pistol—a modern Static Blaster produced by SoroSuub Corporation by redesigning old Systech designs.
