Nguyen Xuan is the contact Artemis and Butler meet in the first book, in Ho Chi Minh City. He is disguised as a waiter to discreetly check for weapons, but his ruse is discovered as he is wearing handmade loafers, a silk shirt and three gold signet rings. His English has a slight tinge of Oxford and he has recently had a manicure. He shows them a photo, and then leads Artemis and Butler to the source of the photo, the Fairy healer.
