After Conkram was absorbed by a gigantic Sim-Seru, the power of the Sim-Seru created a breach in time and space that allowed one to access a dimensional portal within the Room of Mirrors. However, in order to walk through the mirror and reveal the gateway into the past, the Seru Flame must be used to light two lamps set in front of the mirror.
