Akira is a soldier belonging to Saheiji's pack. He is barely shown in any detail but it is known that he was killed in the battle against Shogun. Akira is loyal to Yukimura so he obviously has some reason for hating and wanting to kill monkeys but that reason is unknown because it is never mentioned in the manga. It is unknown if Akira is a younger pack member that joined under the rule of yukimura or an older pack member that has belonged to the pack since saheiji's rule. He does not have any importart role in the story. During the battle, Akira was one of the unlucky dogs as his paw was chopped off by the rampaging Shogun before dying instantly.
