After the fall of the CIS, the batch, then almost the size of a Battalion, joined a group of droids planning to escape from the Republic and form a new government. They continued service in the army of the Droid Confederacy, and were given a small archipelago on the Confederacy's capital, Providence, to set up residence and build whatever they wanted. They created a cloning lab and increased their number to almost a million.
