The 2006 Wales Rally GB was the final round of the 2006 World Rally Championship season. It took place between December 1–3, 2006. This was the first Wales Rally GB since beloved Welsh navigator Michael Park lost his life at last year's ill-fated event. Fortunately enough, there was no death or tragedy at the 2006 Rally GB. It also saw the absence of Sébastien Loeb, still injured after his mountain bike accident and for the second time around Dani Sordo was the lead driver.
