It starts with a single low note, followed by a section of drums. After that, another layer of high strings is added in. At around 0:50, choir takes on the main melody of Impend from Halo 2. Later on, drums once again become the dominant instrument. At around 3:05, the slow drum beat is replaced by a faster and louder drums section. At around 3:23, the percussion changes to a more relaxed beat, with a more muted drum tone. The choir then joins in again for the melody of A Walk in the Woods at 3:50. It runs for 5:20.
