Lonneke Engel ( Eindhoven , June 14 1981 ) is a Dutch model . Angel began at the age of thirteen as a model and was discovered by photographer Bruce Weber . She worked for thirteen years for Ralph Lauren in 1995 and ran her first fashion show for Chanel . She was in several magazines and is also a certified health professional since 2008.
