Michael Cassidy (1837 – March 18, 1908) was a Union Navy sailor in the American Civil War and a recipient of the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions at the Battle of Mobile Bay. Cassidy's official Medal of Honor citation reads: Cassidy died on March 18, 1908, at age 70 or 71 and was buried at Hampton National Cemetery in Hampton, Virginia.
