Many years ago the great Wizard Pac took five ordinary fruits and transformed them into magical fruit called the "Golden Fruit". These fruit were used by Sir Pac-A-Lot to defeat Spooky and imprison him in the roots of the tree located in the center of Pac-Village. Since then, none of the Pac-People have ever heard from Spooky, until the Ghost Gang (Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde) unwittingly released Spooky from the Golden Fruit Tree as a result of playing around. They later agreed to help Spooky destroy the Golden Fruits with the help of Wormwood to conquer all of Pac-Land. This is where Pac-Man's journey began to gather the Golden Fruit by defeating the Ghost Gang and imprison Spooky once again!
