Minkeys are monkey-like enemies that first appeared in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. They are on the sides of trees, throwing acorns at the Kongs in an attempt to hurt them. They appear in two levels; Barrel Shield Bust-Up and Sunken Spruce (GBA version). There's a possibility Minkeys are similar to Manky Kongs in that they may also be Kong Family Rejects, though their involvement in The Great Ape War is unknown.
