Hau polyps were an organic material used by the Yuuzhan Vong as seats and mobile cushions. Constantly pulsing, they were made of fiberous red material. Supreme Overlord Shimrra had a huge throne in his Citadel made of hau polyps, and a polyp would occasionally burst due to his massive size.
