Strength of Atlas is an arcane utility spell in ADOM. It allows the caster to magically increase his/her carrying capacity. Strength of Atlas is a highly useful spell which is often used continuously throughout the game to allow the PC to carry tremendous amounts of items without getting crushed. The effect of the spell lasts for a relatively large number of turns, and each new casting does not override this counter but increases it. In practice, it is possible to cast the spell several dozen times in a row to secure the increased carrying capacity bonus for 10000-20000 game turns.
