USS Adamant (NCC-3029) was the lead ship and prototype for the Adamant-class dreadnoughts. Adamant underwent trials in the early 2290s. Ordnance of Adamant was tested at the Darkstar wargames at Starbase 14 on stardate 9301.32. "[Adamant] was the clear winner insofar as overall firepower was concerned, and a close third with regards to concerted, maintained precision attack (first was USS Thruxton, followed by USS Starstalker)."
