Dr. Helmunt von Heissen is a former German plastic surgeon. As a young doctor at a Nazi camp, he made great advances in skin grafting. Sometime after the War, Heissen was discovered by the Lazarus Clinic, and worked with them in a plan to take control of a top US government security agency, The Network. He created perfect physical doubles of Frank Hardy, Joe Hardy, Iola Morton, and Network top-dog, The Gray Man.
