Andilay root is helpful for fatigue. It "clear[s] the head and dint[s] the burn in tired muscles." During the Last Battle, Nynaeve al'Meara successfully used andilay root and simple stitches to help the ailing Alanna Mosvani, whom Moridin had captured and stabbed inside the Pit of Doom to make Rand al'Thor go into the Warder rage upon her death. Thanks to Nynaeve's healing methods, by many a Yellow sister derogatively referred to as "primitive", she was able to prevent Alanna's immediate death.
