Myrim Volkin was a Human male alive during the Second Imperial Civil War and its aftermath. Volkin grew up within the borders of the Galactic Empire and was, like other citizens, a loyal servant of his Sith overlords. The Second Imperial Civil War between the Empire and the Galactic Alliance ended badly for the Sith, and their subjects were forced to flee their homes to escape retribution from enemy forces. The young Volkin joined his fellow countrymen in a massive exodus from their decimated capital of Coruscant, led by a reclusive Sith Lord. After wandering the Unknown Regions for twenty years, the migrant fleet that carried the Sith expatriates happened upon Balstros, an unknown world.
