The Imperial Postal Service was the Barrayaran service for delivering mail. At the time of Barrayar, the Imperium was phasing in the use of lightflyers instead of horses, and central drop points instead of people walking or riding circuits. Presumably as the communications network expanded to even the most rural households, more of the mail would be electronic instead of physical.
