MetallifeKuwagamon appears in the DigiQuartz after Isamu Kaneda nets his scout pod. He manages to fight off Tagiru and Hideaki, while kidnapping Kaneda as a hostage for his escape. After his defeat and Kaneda's rescue, MetallifeKuwagamon tells about how he was already hunted as a sacrifice for the "evil being", but was destroyed by [[Quartzmon ()|Quartzmon]] before confessing his Hunter's name.
