Sheila Tanner was a classmate of Danielle's at Columbia University. As fellow reporters, they have a false friendship/bitter rivalry, especially since Sheila was shot by one of Danielle's party members (demonic possession reasoning aside). Still, the party managed to save her uncle (Mayor O'Malley of Granada, Colorado) and possibly others in the town/her family, so she might begrudgingly forgive the party.
