Th UNSC Light Before Dawn was a FFG Frigate in the UNSC navy in 2542. It participated in the battle of Clearwater VI, where it was the only ship to escape the planet intact. After making a random slipspace jump, they slispace drive was damaged, and they sent a distess call to the UNSC fleet and took shelter on a nearby moon, landing there. The events of this incident are currently classified, but it is known that the Light Before Dawn was destroyed.
