YouTube Red is a paid streaming subscription service exclusively for YouTube. It is used to compete against sites such as Hulu and Netflix. It was first released in November 2014 as "Music Key" with help from Google Play Music. As of December 2016, a monthly subscription is $9.99. YouTubers and celebrities are starting to upload series on there, including Rhett and Link.
