The GRG170M features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez Powersound pickups. The GRG170DX is a similar regular production model which has a rosewood fretboard with sharktooth inlays.
