Where once one nation stood, forged out of 50 states united, now stand many differet nations. The dream the founding fathers had when they signed the Declaration of Independence of a strong, unified nation came to pass, but at a vastly reduced size. Over the next two centuries, nine separate nations were born and while they forged an uneasy peace, that peace was not to last as jealousy, expansionism and the dream of conquest leads the nine nations of North America away from peace and down the long and slippery slope towards war.
