In the 3598 general election in Dorvik, Ludwig was elected to the Diet of the Kingdom of Dorvik as an independent member affiliated with the Dorvish Social Nationalist Party representing Autenburg, the central location of the Grand Duchy of Largonia. Ludwig is a controversial member of the Dorvish nobility believing that the Lorman Dorvish nobility should re-take the titles of Mothar and Dorvan back from their non-Lorman counter-parts. Ludwig is an active member of the Dorvish Territorial Association (Dundorfian: Dorvische Gebietsverband) a pro-Dorvish Lorman organization of Lorman-born nobles in Dorvan and Mothar.
