The speed is better than the double-decker, but still poor. The handling is alright, but it takes really long for it to turn its wheels which makes it a nightmare at sharp turns. As the Optare is a large vehicle, it is quite hard to handle at top speed (which is still slow) and sharp turns. These buses are easier to control than the double-decker buses. You can only find this bus in South London and the City (over the bridge from Westminster).
