Philippa Howell appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in August 1991 as Annabelle Johnson, whose daughter Belinda was a friend of Victoria Arden; and she returned to the programme in March 1996 as the Magistrate who sentenced Jim McDonald to three weeks in Strangeways after breaking his bail conditions by harassing estranged wife Liz. She also founded Philippa Howell Personal Management, with offices in London and Sheffield.
