Beldons are gigantic gas-filled non-sapient creatures native to the world Bespin, a gas giant. Beldons can be found in large numbers, floating in the lower atmosphere layers of Bespin. They have a large yet very light spherical body filled with gas, and many short tentacles around their mouths. They use these tentacles to capture small aeroplanktonic organisms. They can also metabolize natural chemicals of the planet's atmosphere. Beldons are known for excreting a gas called Tibanna, which can be used as fuel.
