The Mortiga are a race of creatures that will appear in Stellar Dawn. This is one of four races that players will be able to play as in Stellar Dawn. The other three races are Humans, the Pliigi, and an unnamed other quite possibly being Mechs. Images of Mortiga creatures can be seen in some of the concept art drawn by Darren B. The word "Mortiga" is Esperanto for "deadly".
