General Koslenko is the commander of the Soviet base on Kamkov Island. He has a tense relationship with his subordinate, Vasily Zhukov. When Oscar Goldman refuses to evacuate the base in the face of a nuclear explosion, Koslenko decides to stay as well, refusing to leave a Soviet base in the hands of an American.
