Chinatown is a subway station on the Broad-Ridge Spur of SEPTA's Broad Street Subway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and opened on December 21, 1932. The station is located at the eastern edge of Philadelphia's Chinatown at 8th and Race Streets, and is one of two stations within Philadelphia's rapid transit system to be named after its neighborhood rather than its address, with the other station being Fern Rock at the north terminus of the line. Corresponding to the signage in the Chinatown neighborhood, the station name signs are written in Chinese in addition to English.
