Elena Drazen was the wife to Victor Drazen and the mother to Andre, Alexis and Martina Drazen. She was born in Đakovica, Kosovo on May 10, 1951. Two years before Day 1, Elena and Martina were killed in Kosovo by an explosion caused by Jack Bauer in Operation Nightfall, which was authorized by Senator David Palmer to take out Victor Drazen. The mission failed because it was only Victor's double that was killed. The only reason that Elena was killed was because she came home from holiday one day early with her ill daughter Martina.
