Yamaji Arata (山路新 Yamaji Arata?) is the mangaka in charge of illustrating the Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator side story in it's manga version. He is a newcomer in illustrating serialized manga, and Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator is his debut work. His artstyle is notable for the use of facial expressions of the characters, specifically, shadowing the entire face of a character for dramatic effect. He also makes frequent use of electric spark-like effects when a power is used, especially Accelerator's esper ability.
