A Praeco [PRY-koh] (or "Herald", Plural Praeconis) is the Magus who presides over a Hermetic Tribunal, both the geographical region and the meeting therein. By tradition, the oldest Magus resident in a Tribunal is selected as Praeco, but this is not always the case, and there are regional variations in the practice.
