He is an employee at Wayne Enterprizes who at first is kind of a "nobody". When he was a kid, both his parents were killed. This is one of the reasons he and Bruce are friends, because both of their parents are dead. He is also a fan of Batman, and he thinks Batman and Bruce Wayne might be the same person, but he's not sure about it.
