Sea Swift is a blockade runner given to Amos Trask to command by Trevor Hull to aid in the escape of Arutha and Princess Anita. During their escape, the Royal Griffin began a pursuit, commanded by Jocko Radburn. As they closed in, Amos asked Martin if he could scare the tiller, possibly distracting them enough to increase the distance between the two ships. Martin's efforts were successful, allowing Amos to redirect the ship to some newly spotted fog. Ordering the sails down and everyone quiet, the crew and passengers listened as the Royal Griffin entered the fog, and subsequently ran aground of some shoals, ensuring the demise of ship and crew.
