The 2nd US Tour opened on 13th January 1985, and ran til 30th November 1986 at the Shubert Theatre, Los Angeles - while technically not a tour in this iteration, the production did go on to become the US Tour 4. It was produced by Cameron Mackintosh, the Really Useful Company Limited, David Geffen and the Shubert Organization.
