Umwaw was an Ithorian Jedi. He was Nephill Kilner's Padawan, and fought at the 1st Battle of Dagobah, Utapau, Coruscant, and Operation Knightfall. He was known for strongly disagreeing with Jedi Code Amendment 52, which allowed Jedi to marry and also changed the age restriction for acceptance into the Order. He trained Arani Kilner, however briefly, along with the Felucian Hagark, the Ithorian Fandomar, and the wookie Salporin. He was also the Jedi Head of State.
