Bandomeer was the location of a mine in the Jedi AgriCorps. Obi-Wan Kenobi was sent to work as a miner after being rejected as a Jedi Padawan, although after uncovering and defeating an assassination plot by the rogue Jedi Xanatos on the planet Kenobi was assigned to Jedi Master Jard Dooku.
