Rune books are manuals used to create runes which are in turn used to make armor sets stronger. There are three different grades of rune books brave, holy, and honor. These three rune book grades come in three types the helm, armor, and weapon respectively. There are two versions of each rune book an old and a normal version. The older versions are colored in a darker shade than the normal version. Each rune book is color coded and character specific. With the release of Season 3 all rune books had to be taken to the Forge in the Park to create runes.
