Gordon Hall appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: as Harold, a carpenter working on Dawson's Cafe in July and August 1978 and a Vanman who delivered a new bed to the Tilsleys in December 1979. He also appeared in Strangers and Granada Television's 1982 adaptation of A Kind of Loving.
