Cyprus, formerly known as People's Republic of Cyprus, was a sovereign communist state between 2020 and 2026, when it was occupied by Israel. Since 2026 until 2030, Cyprus was ruled by a provisional government supervised by Israel. In 2030, after a referendum, Cyprus officially joined Israel as an autonomous country until 2032, when the Israeli Union was created and Cyprus became a commonwealth. It was member of the UN and during all World War III, Cyprus sided with the Eastern Alliance until 2026, when practically moved to the Western Coalition due to Israeli occupation.
