Maril was a female individual who worked as a teacher in the 2370s. By 2377, she was known to both Deanna Troi and William T. Riker. The two planned to intoduce Maril to Reginald Barclay during a dinner in Tiburon. (VOY: "Inside Man") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 21) , this character was named for Star Trek production staff member Maril Davis.
