Upon the Assassin Ezio Auditore's arrival in Athens on his journey to Masyaf in 1510, he was immediately sought out by Ma'Mun. Ma'Mun, having heard of Ezio's bravery during his travels to Athens, showered the Assassin with gifts. He also urged Ezio to stay in Athens a while longer, an offer Ezio was forced to accept due to strong storms along the route he had hoped to take.
