Ellimere is a princess of the Old Kingdom, and heir to its throne. Her father is King Torrigan, and her mother is the Abhorsen. Like her mother, she attended school at Wyverley College, in Ancelstierre. Ellimere enjoys playing tennis, and asks her younger brother Sameth to make her some tennis racquets in order to teach her friends in the Old Kingdom how to play. At the second binding of Orannis, Ellimere stands for Dyrim. It can be assumed she is named after her mother's good friend who died binding Kerrigor.
